DAY TWENTY-SIX

Well, I'm moving through this chapter really well. I like it.

I still have about six pages left in this chapter, however I'm actually pushing through it a little faster than I had first thought. This is good.

What does that mean for my goal of February 29th?

At this point I'm not 100% confident that I'm going to make that, simply because the book is going through quite the face-lift.

I do think though, that at the latest the bulk of the editing will be done by the end of March.

It means sticking with it longer but I'm certain that you'll really enjoy the product when it's ready for publication.

I'm warming up to the idea of self-publication more and more. I haven't made my final decision yet but I'm liking what I see.

Being an author means that you have to market too. Even if you are with a publisher. They want to know what you are doing to help your novel reach the readers.

It's kind of like being an entrepreneur. The only difference is, instead of a business, the book is your "product" and your website is your "store".

Did I say website?

Well, that's another thing I have to create too. I already have my domain name but I haven't constructed the site yet.
